Amazon China develops innovative consumer-centric product solutions. As Reliability Program Manager you will engage with an experience cross-disciplinary staff to conceive, design and bring to market innovative consumer products. You will work closely with an internal inter- disciplinary team, and outside partners to drive key aspects of product definition, execution and test. You must be responsive, flexible and succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.

The Role

The Reliability Program Manager will lead the reliability engineering and operations activities through the device execution phase process Accountable for managing new device programs through the company’s development. The Reliability Program Manager will closely work with reliability engineers in Sunnyvale and contract manufactures to manage, coor plan and lead system builds in at the factory in China as well as driving failure analysis to resolution. The Reliability Program Manager will drive the configuration management deliverables to ensure the timely release of all device components and assemblies to production. Lead Engineering builds in Asia. Report reliability execution progress and issues, and track the issues from creation to closure.

? Cooperate with cross-functional teams and other test engineers on debugging, failure analysis and fixing issues discovered during test.
? Evaluate and develop reliability test methodologies to reduce test time and increase test coverage.
? Support US Reliability test needs from Proto to post production.
? Support Second source qualification.
? Support factory escalations in reliability.
? Work with OEM’s and leverage their resources for research
? Qualify components manufactured throughout China.
? Prepared to travel extensively in China and Asia to support testing of components
? Prepared to travel to US for training and to support US team.

Basic Qualifications

? Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, material engineering, mechanical engineering or related fields
? 5 years of experience as an engineering lead or engineering project manager.
? Good understanding of the principles and basic structures of measuring instruments such as HALT, chambers, oscilloscopes, a multi-meters etc.
? Strong technical problem solving skills and experience with failure analysis techniques.
? Strong team work spirit, team leader preferred.
? Excellent bi-lingual (Chinese & English) written and verbal communication skills required.
? Good ability in multi-task and handling a large number of tasks at once.

Preferred Qualifications

? Experience as an Engineering Manager with expertise in reliability, product development processes and a proven track record delivering high volume mobile consumer electronic devices to market.
? Experience with failure analysis techniques to isolate failure for any issues.
? Have reliability knowledge, statistical knowledge and be able to use reliability and statistical method to do data analysis, provide risk assessment and life forecast.
? Experience dealing with high volume manufacturing sites in Asia and, ideally, worked with several different OEM/ODM partners. Experience with cross-functionally managing a diverse group of engineering, operations and product management professional proficient at creating and tracking complex development schedules, managing issues and tracking bugs.
? Background in consumer electronics.
? Solid understanding of both software and hardware development lifecycles.
? Leadership skills.
? Hands on experience at manufacturing sites.
? Strong communication and leadership skills required. Due to the international nature of the project, fluent English communication are a must. 举报 分享
