Mission Statement
Cooperate with ABB LBUs on effective daily transport booking with good optimization & shipments track & trace to reach the pre-defined KPIs

Main Accountabilities
1. Plan & optimize transport based on pre-defined routine to meet the service level
2. Book timely with the nominated carriers/forwarders by transport management system
3. Monitor carrier/forwarder’s logistics arrangement and cargo pickup to ensure required carrier service performance
4. Coordinate with LBUs, Forwarder and brokers on customs operation
5. System maintenance of transport requirement
6. Track and trace shipments to meet the service requirements & Monitor shipment request data quality
7. Monitor the carrier/forwarder’s performance.
8. Implement recovery options with notification to Control tower manager, Operations and Plant key contacts upon shipment delay or damage,
9. Investigate delays to find root cause and ensure continuous improvement
10. Make record on delivery problems inclusive of reason code maintenance
11. Collect PODs
Handle exceptional cases

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
1. College degree
2. More than 4 years logistics experience (freight forwarding industry or manufacturing logistics experience preferred)
3. Good knowledge in import/export logistics operation
4. Analytical skill
5. Excellent communication
6. Good knowledge of MS office
7. Good command of English
