Senior Logistics Program Manager

The Role:

As a Sr. Logistics Program Manager you will Drive process reengineering to enhance existing logistics and shipping operations in vendors. Manage, design and implement logistics projects and new initiatives from different stakeholders. Manage vendors and 3PL’s performances. . In this role, you will:

· Designing, and executing complex Logistics Programs, re-engineer processes to simplify existing logistics and shipping operations with the Contract Manufactures (CM).
· Manage, design and implement logistics projects and new initiatives, and coordinate with cross functional teams to support the new projects.
· Troubleshoot customs or logistics issues in China, be familiar with exporting/importing regulations
· Manage vendors and 3PL’s performances, and are able to find solutions to shorten lead times as well as comply with all necessary regulations.
· Manage complex projects and play a key logistics expert role to manage shipments and meet the customer’s requirement.
· Manage logistics operation process in vendors
· Coordinate among destinations, 3PL and vendors for trouble shooting
· Coordination among planning team and vendors operation team
· Conduct regular and qualitative business-case analyses to improve operation process
· Assist in setting up operation process in new vendors
· Manage vendors OTD (on time delivery)
· Travel as required

Requirement:
- At least 10 years’ experience in logistics field, experience in both manufacturing factory and 3PL is preferred
- At least 3 years’ in management level
- Know well about customs
- Hands-on experience in set-up of new vendor operation process
- Bachelor degree in supply chain management, logistics or equivalent
- Strong communication skills
- Results oriented and self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Good analytical skills and solid experience in trouble-shooting and process streamlining
- Team player
