Job Description and Qualifications: POSITION SUMMARY

Purpose

This position has direct responsibilities for supply chain planning and execution projects for Electronics China Supply Chain. Work scope cover supply chain network development, supply chain process improvement, cross functional cooperation internally among supply chain functions and business partners, external collaboration with logistics service suppliers and project execution suppliers. The products are EM& EFP materials, EES, parts for Electronics China.

Nature and Scope

The job holder is expected to lead supply chain network developing projects, include evaluating, planning and setting up distribution centers upon business request; optimize transportation route and develop multi- approach of transportation; conduct supply chain readiness for new production plant or DC; and make sure product supply comply with trade and regulation terms.

The job holder is responsible for supply chain process improvement, such as promoting CTPAT compliance, improving supplier management, optimizing fleet cycling (including customer holding, empty container returning and re-testing).

The jobholder should work closely with other functions in China, such as planning, logistics, warehouse, commercial, customer service and project team that provide support services to the Electronics business areas, Meanwhile, comply with regional and global process.

The incumbent should be able to reach target with effective method and should have a thorough understanding of supply chain and practice of logistics, and be able to liaise effectively with a wide range of functions in the company.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. To plan and set up distribution centers or supply chain networks to new locations, to meet new business developments

2. To optimize transportation routes to existing and new locations

3. To conduct supply chain readiness for new plants

4. To ensure CTPAT compliance and audit logistics suppliers

5. To continuous improve supply chain process.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Logistics experience and Supply Chain concept required

Good communication skill required in both Chinese and English

Process optimization and project management skill required

Ability of leading international meetings required

Self motivated and quick learner preferred

Experience with chemicals logistics and danger goods transportation preferred

Experience worked in foreign chemical company preferred

CTPAT experience preferred
