Job Description
Eaton Corporation has an opening of Senior Analyst – Marketing, China located in Shanghai.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Evaluate and assess needs of value cycle training from all business groups.
Coordinate with group marketing and HR leaders to identify training location and employees to be trained.
Assist in the development of training schedule and match trainers to the training sessions in need.
Arrange all value cycle related logistics.
Candidate will also need to be trained in value cycle training, become a certified instructor, and conduct at least two training sessions a year.
B. Participates in quarterly marketing council meetings and coordinate meeting with each of the marketing council members.
Responsible for documenting meeting minutes
Follow up on key action items with council members.
C. Assist in the implementation of the standardized customer satisfaction survey for all the businesses groups in China.
D. Introduce breadth of Eaton’s capabilities to strategic customers through customer-centric Tech Days
Assist in the planning and implementation of all Tech Days.
Coordinate between all business groups with issues in logistics, planning, seminar speakers, vendor management, and communications pre and post each event.
E. Responsible for coordinating all customer experience center (CEC) related procedures such as:
• Recommend, confirm participation, and prepare a pool of technical experts from all business groups for the CEC briefing program.
• Identify and schedule briefing rooms and be a back up lead for CEC & Green tours
• Support agenda development and consultation
• Facilitate and/or monitor customer briefings and partner with IT for technical A/V support
• Responsible of ensuring adherence of the CEC policies & procedures by different internal users.
• Responsible for customer feed back and reporting (voice of the customer – VOC)
• Support CEC marketing and communications with promotional materials/web site, invitations, name badges, table contents, agendas, feedback forms, gifts, etc.
• Provide concierge services such as travel and lodging, entertainment, and dining reservations.
• Coordinate catering, front desk reception, security, reserved parking.
F. Assist in the development of marketing strategies.
Perform market research to identify large account opportunities (USD $1 Billion +). Key focus on growth segments such as alternative energy (wind, solar, hybrids) and oil and gas.
Interprets market intelligence and filter for qualified data
Conduct product development studies
Monitor China market and key competitor activities.
G. Conduct best practices collection and transferring in branding, sustainability, promotions, value propositions, etc. with Corporate Marketing and Marketing Communication teams in U.S., EMEA, Latin America, and India.
H. Partner with China PR & GR teams to promote Eaton Tech Days and CEC programs with internal and external customers.
Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:
Bachelor’s degree required. Preferably in Marketing and Sales Management, Business Management, Communications. A Master’s degree is a plus.
He or she need to have exceptional oral/written communication skills both in English and Chinese.
Experiences working with Government, State Owned Enterprises (SOE) and Multinational Corporations (MNC) preferred
Experiences with print and web-based marketing communication preferred.
Good facilitation and presentation skills
Excellence in power point and excel.

Ability to investigate national and global markets to fully understand customers and the impact on our businesses.
Ability to capture and analyze competitor information to positively differentiate Eaton in the marketplace.
