Job title: Senior Web Developer
Function: IT
Reports to: IT Director
Sub Function: China JV
Location: Shanghai, China
Key accountabilities and decision ownership [max 8]:
? Responsible for continuously development of company website as per business requirements and enhancement of the backend and API if required
? Understand the architecture and technical stack of website and reservation system, develop solution for integration with other systems
? Support the current website and reservation system in terms of bug-fix, new feature deployment, testing
? support the new reservation system project
? Create and maintain relevant documentations Skills, know-how and experience [max 8]:
Must have:
? More than 6 years of working experience in web development
? Good knowledge of web technology like PHP framework symfony, JavaScript, HTML5, Java in coding level, and cross-browser, cross-device compatibility
? Hands on knowledge of REST/JSON/Web Service/Web API
? Experience in development in website, CMS, online payment, WeChat, reservation system etc.
? Experience in SDLC, agile software development, QA, code review
? Good technical documentation skill
? Strong communication skill, good English, a fast learner
Preferred:
? Experience of working in the travel industry or OTA
Technical / professional qualifications:
? Degree of engineering or software design (min. Bachelor level)
