Job responsibilities
The Graphic Designer responsibilities will include assisting in the design and execution of various pieces
The work demands creative sense:
Creating design on textile, decoration, graphics, product packaging
Knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.
* Meeting with the manager to discuss the product objectives
* interpreting the buyer needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose;
* estimating the time required to complete the work
* developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research;
* thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts;
* presenting finalized ideas and concepts to the manager
* proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work
* contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief;
* demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches;
* working on layouts and art working pages ready for print
* working as part of a team with printers, stylists, illustrators, other designers
Job competencies
* Bachelor degree or above
* At least 2-4 years working experience with similar position
The applicant should be creative, well organized, have great communication skills and have experience with the following software:
* Adobe Photoshop
* Adobe Illustrator
* Knowledge of 3D software
Job Qualification
* Bachelor degree from a four-year college or university
* Portfolio that shows flawless attention to graphics, textile, patterns, and details as well as conceptual thinking and integrated experiences
* Punctually, honesty, responsibility, patient, attentive, Compliant and enforceability.
* Cross function communication skills – English – Computer
* Direct report to Manager
* Cross communication with Design team, Sourcing,QC,
* Communication to French office
