JOB OBJECTIVES:


1. To be technical expert for architecture coating products/solutions to support the business growth


2. Develop/localize architecture coating products based on local market needs


3. Optimize architecture coating formulations to improve competitiveness in terms of costing, performance and lead time;


4. Ensure product quality and productivity by providing support and guidance to production team


5. Ensure related products/systems can be applied properly by providing application guidance, training and to develop the application technique consistently


6. Lead technical projects effectively include all activities in lab and site trials


7. Provide support to PMs and sales on selling tools development, competition analysis and application know how




MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


1. Development/localization for architecture coating products


2. Optimizing current formulations based marketing strategy to keep product competitive both on performance, cost and lead time


3. Closely monitor product quality by cooperating with QC and site support team and take necessary actions to achieve targeted quality performance


4. Provide training/application guideline to sales team


5. Support PMs and communication to develop and produce selling tools based on market/sales needs


6. Trouble shooting for site application


7. Guide technician for lab work


8. Ensure the work performed according to EHS regulation.


9. Take initiative to evaluate alternative raw materials and optimize formulation to decrease cost, single source and improve lead time and supply reliability


10. Solve product complaints in time




REQUIREMENTS:


1. Education: Bachelor Degree or above major in Polymer, Material Engineer or Chemistry or related.


2. Working experience: More than 3 years technical work experience in architecture coating product development, technical service or related, acrylic relevant will be preferred


3. Technical & Professional Knowledge:


1. Good at architecture coating product(elastic coating, texture coating, stone look coating,etc.) development work


2. Innovative and can carry out daily technical work independently;


3. Good English in oral, writing, reading.
