The Position

• Directly supports the development and qualification of sources to support the ongoing project/

product purchasing at the most cost effective level while monitoring and ensuring that supplier quality,

service and Roche performance remains consistently high.

• Support any projects where procurement, sourcing, negotiating, contracting, etc. activities are

necessary

• Adhere to all procurement policies and procedures and ensure compliance.

• Ensure that the purchasing activities are in compliance with Roche Corporate Requirements

and any other corporate Quality and SH&E directives.

• Conduct site visits to current and prospective supplier locations.

• Build up and keep good relationship with all the internal customers and peers.

• Keep close communication with Roche global project team and prepare all the related

reporting documents.

• Serves as expert resource to project teams and other internal customers in area of

procurement.

• Establishes effective communication channel with project team and supports in spec

analyzing.

• Supports controlling time and quality of projects/products.

• Manages vendors to guarantee good performance after contracts signing off.

• Works closely with finance team to handle vendor payment.

• Work on continuous vendor management for improvement.

• Manages and updates database including POs, contracts, vendors’ performance & evaluation

report, etc.

• Problem-solving oriented with courage, positive attitude and professional knowledge.

• Support on other procurement assignments.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree (Business, Science) with strong procurement, logistics, business or

financial emphasis or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience,

required. Graduate degree in related discipline preferred.

• Job-related Professional License(s) or Certification(s): CPM, CIRM or CPIM accreditation,

preferred.

Job-related Experience:

• Requires 5 plus years of relevant procurement experience to include: (project) purchasing,

bidding organizing, negotiating contracts, contract management, supplier relationship management,

supplier development, and supplier qualification/certification.

• Previous experience in managing complex procurement projects would be a strong

advantage

Other Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills (oral & written) with the ability to present supply concepts at the

business level.

• Fluent in English and Mandarin

• Ability to manage conflict and encourage collaboration.

• Project management skills.

• Team spirit.

• Commodity and supplier knowledge.

• Knowledge of general contract law, risk assessment and market pricing.

• Demonstrated experience in MS Office applications, SAP, and other project management and

financial applications.

• Ability to travel as required.

2000年8月，罗氏诊断产品（上海）有限公司作为外商独资公司在上海成立，开展中国大陆的业务。
