Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
.Research and integrate current vulnerabilities, threats, and security technologies into incident response operations
.Manage complex security incidents through the incident response life cycle
.Document security incidents in JCI incident management system and maintain incident artifacts
.Detect and analyze security incidents through the monitoring of security tools, such as DLP.
.Analyze additional log, forensic, malware, or other IR-related data, as needed
.Analyze organization security posture and develop formal recommendations for control implementation or modification
.Generate after action reports, lessons learned documents, threat papers and monthly IR metrics for senior management
.Participation in an after-hours on-call rotation

.Critical thinking and problem solving skills
.Self-starter with a sense of urgency who takes ownership and responsibility for projects and initiatives
.Ability to quickly learn new technologies and respond to changing requirements and environment
.Ability to work independently and in a cross functional team
.Passion for information security and incident response
.Understanding of Windows operating systems and command line tools, network protocols, TCP/IP fundamentals
.Knowledge of network based services and client/server applications
.Broad knowledge of networking, routing protocols, switching, firewalling, Extranet and DMZ security and remote access methodologies
.Be good at report analyzing, data correlation, and result communication
.Hands on experience using vulnerability assessment, network scanning and DLP tools such as Appscan, IPSonar, Vontu, etc is preferred
.Familiarity with network architecture and security infrastructure placement

Additional Skills that will distinguish candidates
.Experience with programming/scripting languages
.Background in operational information security disciplines(e.g. incident response, security infrastructure management, or monitoring services)
.Background performing incident response and digital forensics
.Experience in systems administration for Windows and/or Unix based environments

Key Competencies
.Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is required
.Must have 3+ years of IT related experiences, 2+ years on information security.
.Solid understanding of information technology and certain level understanding of information security best practices
.Quick learner, good analytical skills and the ability to multi-task
.Able to work independently and in a team environment
.Good oral and written communication skills (English) with the ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding.
.One or more certifications in following areas: Cisco, Microsoft, Oracle, Linux, UNIX.
