Header / Position: Paint Shop Engineer
Location: China
Job Type: Engineer and Project Manager
Responsibilities:
1) Carry out Simultaneous Engineering activities using Catia and Auto CAD.
2) Analyze and design for Paint Shop Layout using Auto CAD.
3) Develop painting process and analyze cycle time (Takt time).
4) Develop and review concept drawings for paint equipment and facility.
5) Analyze paint material, equipment and facility costs.
6) Analyze paint quality.
7) Carry out required quality improvement measures.
8) Manage line installations for off-shore and on-shore activities.
9) Project management of new development work in painting; carry out training as required.
Requirements:
1) Significant previous experience in paint shops for automotive sector.
2) Mastery of quality requirements.
3) Experience in leading project teams for new product launch in Automotive Industry.
4) Thorough knowledge of the development process and all related activities.
5) Expertise in project management methodology.
6) Willingness to travel.
7) Integrity, enthusiasm and team-spirit.
Skills:
1) English speaking, reading and writing capabilities.
2) Good communication skills.
3) Excellent MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project) skills.
4) Catia and Auto CAD proficiency.
Education: Bachelor degree from related disciplines
Experience: Prefer candidates with more than 7 years' experience within an automotive OEM company in related activities. Previous overseas project assignments are viewed as a plus.
