1. PURPOSE OF POSITION
· The Supply Chain Specialist administrates activities on forecast planning, inventory management, replenishment, customer orders and shipment to ensure optimized inventory for selected markets in order to meet the defined KPIs.
2. KEY RESULT AREAS
· Works closely with local teams, distributor vendor and international supply chain to ensure that stock replenishment are timely and optimum to support local sales targets.
· Consolidate and upload SAP forecast update, review the SAP planning parameters on a bi-monthly basis, execute replenishment based on system’s suggestion and value added input.
· Understand in-market sales trend which impact ongoing and future forecast, monitor forecast accuracy and work internally to ensure supply for future orders.
· Ensure optimal inventory level by reviewing back orders, stock holding, excess, SLOB stocks to ensure minimum write off.
· Monitor incoming shipments to ensure on smooth custom clearance, timely delivery, keep local team and distributor vendor updated on incoming shipments and stock availability.
· Work closely with distributor vendor (or 3PL) to ensure processes are put in place to manage our incoming/outgoing inventories and support financial, stock and quality audit processes.
· Support Logistics Director and QA managers to implement QA control measures in Supply Chain Activities to ensure full compliance of internal and external requirements.
· To handle customer orders and to ensure accurate and timely delivery as per customer’s requirements. To be the liaison for customer with regards to product availability and delivery. (temporary responsibilities)
· To administer shipment service complaints in accordance to MHC standard procedures.
· To prepare periodical reports/statistics for management review.
· To administer sample requests by customers/sales personnel.
· To undertake ad-hoc assignment from the management.
3. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Education: Tertiary education with degree related to business/commerce or Logistics. Professional Logistics qualification definitely a plus.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of working experience in a supply chain role in an international organization.
Minimum 3 years in SAP R/3 MRP module .
