China Tax Compliance Team leader

Department: F&C, APAC
Superior: Director, Financial Services China and Asia Pacific, and functionally to Tax Manager, APAC
Location: Changshu
Purpose of the job:
This position is to lead China Tax team to perform the tax compliance works for certain COMPANY China entities with good quality and coordinate well with finance colleagues and relevant government officials.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Lead and develop Changshu based tax team (4 FTEs)
2. Perform PCIM related tax filing for COMPANY China entities timely and accurately
3. Perform High-tech company related tax filing for COMPANY China to meet the compliance requirement
4. Perform tax related calculations for review with good quality
5. Perform VAT and CIT filing for certain COMPANY entities timely with good quality
6. Perform other tax compliance works as requested
7. Support Changshu based units and functions in terms of tax matters
8. Maintain good relationship with local tax authorities
Prerequisites:
1. Education: University degree in Tax/Accounting/Finance or other related field
2. Language: Good command of English and Mandarin (verbal and written)
3. Computer: Familiar with MS Office
4. Special requirement:
- Leadership and good people development skill
- Strong sense of responsibility and self-motivated,
- Good communication skills and team-work spirit
- Detailed and organized in work
- Familiar with tax filing related systems and standard business software applications
