GENERAL ASSEMBLY SHOP PROJECT MANAGER
Position:
General Assembly Shop Project Manager
Location:
China

Responsibilities:

1. Carry out Simultaneous Engineering activities using Catia and Auto CAD.
2. Design and analyze General Assembly Shop layout using Auto CAD.
3. Develop assembly process and analyze cycle time (Takt time).
4. Develop and review concept for assembly shop checking fixtures, equipment and facility (conveyor system).
5. Analyze assembly equipment costs.
6. Carry out assembly quality analysis, including EOL (end of line).
7. Carry out required quality improvement measures.
8. Manage line installations for off-shore and on-shore activity.
9. Project management for new development work within General Assembly shop, and carry out training as required.
10. Involvement with supplier development systems (APQP/PPAP).
Requirements:
1. Significant previous experience in General Assembly Shop for automotive sector.
2. Mastery of quality requirements.
3. Experience in leading project teams for new product launch in Automotive Industry.
4. Thorough knowledge of the development process and all related activities.
5. Expertise in project management methodology.
6. Willingness to travel.
7. Integrity, enthusiasm and team-spirit.
Skills:
1. English speaking, reading and writing capabilities.
2. Good communication skills.
3. Excellent MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project) skills.
4. Catia and Auto CAD proficiency.
Education:
Bachelor degree from related disciplines
Experience:
Prefer candidates with more than 7 years' experience within an automotive OEM company in related activities. Previous overseas project assignments are viewed as a plus.
