Position Title
Supply Chain Specialist
Position Overview
Own the Information regarding planning and logistics from JV and reflect accurately in SAP.
Support high service levels from JV.
Understand, manage and communicate inventory levels and support intra-region and cross-region shipments.
Provide a key interface between WyncaPlanning, Logistics, and Customer Service.
Job Responsibilities
Supply Chain Interface
Main contact and interface for inventory, orders, internal and external shipments between headquarters and Wynca JV.
Interact daily with Wynca Scheduling and Logistics to meet Momentive requirements.
Responsible for Information Flow from the JV to headquarters Customer Service.
Provide COA as needed to necessary parties.
Maintain Xinan Master Data Information in SAP ( quality, mrp, production)
Work with Pacific team on RICO, ROCO and other activities to drive EOM financial execution.
Asset Planning
Monitor PO ATP via SAP inbox daily. Maintain Accurate Promise and Ship Dates in SAP According to Information received from JV.
Communicate NDD to Customer Service based on best available date.
Communicate asset overloads, shortages, outages, and any significant evens to key stakeholders.
Manage Inter-Plant transfers between JV and headquarters , including Nantong, DJ Tolling, and any other intra-region or cross region shipments.
Inventory Management
Maintain MPM Inventory in JV to allow Delivery Creation and standard shipment Processes.
Understand Inventory at JV, allocation to headquarters , and any issues with inventory.
Communicate Inventory Levels for MPM Weekly.
Manage End of Month/End of Qtr Inventory levels to meet headquarters Targets.
Back Order Management
Continuous optimization of the existing shipping schedule to get closest possible to the original customer RDD.
Logistics
Manage Shipment Information from JV. Work with Customer Service and Wynca Logistics to arrange partial shipments, or allocate volume when allocation is not sufficient to fill order.
Monitor any holds ( i.e.credit) on Xinan Material. Work with Customer Service, AR Teams and others to release material for shipment.
Execute Shipments and required Paperwork for headquarters Shipments. Includes intra-plant transfers, interactions with freight forwarders, and international shipments.
Manage any FTZ requirements.
Enter PGI information immediately upon shipment at JV.
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Background:
Degree Required.
Experience in Supply Chain.
Either Experience in Logistics or Operations Planning/Scheduling.
Familiarity with SAP would be preferred.
