Job Description and QualificationsPOSITION SUMMARY

Purpose

To functionally manage and continuously develop the GSS- maintenance team for all maintenance services and its related business management. This include quality completion of normal and routine activities, systematic planning for turnaround and task activity, coordinate resource sharing arrangements, manage maintenance budget, close alignment with Operations on planning and forecasting maintenance task and budget, interface with Business for maintenance related matters, home cost center recovery, S*** data management, drive productivity and reliability work with functional support.

This position involves functionally managing all technical support to all operations including: Maintenance, process, I/E, pressure vessel, machinery, mechanical integrity, spares, other. The incumbent functionally work closely with all Global Support Service engineers to ensure resources are t*** on to resolve complex or unplanned trips salvation work. As this position is belong to Asia Global Support Services, the incumbent and his maintenance team may occasionally provide technical support outside his immediate region to other facilities of *** in Asia.

Nature and Scope

This position reports to the Asia Maintenance Manager. The scope includes maintenance and technical services for all process operations including ASU plants, Electronic Specialty Gases, Chemical performance materials, HyCO plants, and other small cryogenic plants.

This position is responsible to helping and facilitating operations in attaining all ***CI and
and global best practices for EH&S, productivity, reliability, quality, and overall
customer service. It is also important to assist our plants to meet the local regulatory requirement.

A important responsibility of this and all operations positions is the safety of all personnel involved in
Operations. This position teaches and helps enforce *** safety policies/procedures, explains ***
safety standards, facilitates safety improvement plans, participates in safety audits, and in general
participates in building the *** safety culture in ***-Asia.

The position coordinates Operations and some ***-Engineering technical support from within his region, in Asia and occasionally *** global as well as equipment suppliers and outside contractors and coordinates this support in a cost-effective and timely manner.

The position also accordingly participates in new project Operability and other milestone review, arrange resources to support commissioning activities for new project in existing operating plants or new plants.

Operations productivity, reliability, quality, and cost effectiveness are very important responsibilities of this position. This incumbent coaches, advises, initiates, facilities, and motivates Global Support Service- Maintenance personnel in these areas – bottom line being continually reducing costs while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

Maintenance Budget : US$ 16 – 30 MM
Number of Area Manager : 2 to 5 Area Managers
Size of Maintenance team 60 – 150 members

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES


? Facilitate the use of and compliance to *** EH&S standards in ***SF such that EH&S performance continually improves and performance goals are met or exceeded. Ultimate result desired is zero injuries.
? Manage maintenance budget and support financial forecasting. Analyzing the data from S*** system and other reports and install ***propriate actions to meet company goal
? Drive and initiate productivity ideas to boost business financial returns
? Directly manage all technical support services for all operations in a cost effective/timely manner in normal activities and in urgent emergency breakdowns.
? Help facilitate attaining operations excellence and customer satisfaction via operations productivity, reliability, quality, and cost reduction – ongoing improvements and meeting of budgets.
? Help initiate and facilitate the use of *** global best practices in all operations.
? Help identify, train, and develop team by all possible means, hands on participating real problem solving, attending qualified certification from authorized institute or government agencies, participate in commissioning and startup, attend *** global emergency support, etc. .
? Provide technical support for new plants, by GEO or by M&A and coordinate senior engineers to Due Diligent and other related business meeting on technical matters. .
? Drive continuous improvement in safety performance, maintenance costs, productivity and reliability and cost of quality goals.
? Continually evaluate methodologies, work practices, etc., to improve equipment integrity, reliability, and reduce operational costs.
? Utilize the performance enhancement process to maximize employee value.
? Promote an atmosphere of team spirit through good example, open communication, good listening, and timely problem resolutions.
? Support and coordinate all turnaround scheduling and efforts with the ***propriate plant contacts.
? Coordinate for developing Maintenance C***ital Expenditures (CE’s) as deemed necessary for outage execution.
? Interface with senior management and business periodic review meetings

REQUIREMENTS:
Industrial
Experiences : 10+ years in Gas, Petrochemical or related industry in operations and/or engineering or related activities. Preferably 10+ years in line management of industrial gases, electronics and/or chemicals operations/engineering.

Education : University.

Special Skills
Requirements: Good leadership and interpersonal skills. Wide technical knowledge in gas and chemicals operations and engineering. Good English skills written and oral. Good computer skills.
