二、目的 Purpose

1. Overall technical and general management responsibility for the pump, camshaft, engineering team based in Ningbo

2. Responsible for engineering, design & development of powertrain components and sub-systems, assemblies and integrated modules to meet internal and Customer specifications for performance, durability and reliability at a competitive cost.

3. Interface with several functional dept, Customers and Tier 2 suppliers to execute complex projects.

4. Directs, manages, develops and mentors members of the design and development teams to achieve project and organizational objectives.

5. Responsible for planning, managing and tracking key metrics, including performance, efficiency, training, budgets, business development targets and quality Measures.

2、 所学专业： Major in : Mechanical designing or Mechanical Engineering and related subjects. 机械设计或机械工程专业以及相关专业。

3、 所需英语水平 English level: Can work in English environment

4、 所需计算机水平 PC level: 熟练操作办公室软件， 如Word, Excel, PowerPoint等

5、 所需相关工作经验/年限 Working experience: 五年以上

7、 专业知识与技能 Special knowledge & skill:

1. Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing processes – including high or low pressure casting, plastics module, powder metal, stamping, machining, assembly, testing and prototyping.

2. Knowledge of ANSI, SAE, TS16949, ISO14001, APQP and other industry/customer related standards.

3. Knowledge of standard automotive industry tools including Design for Manufacturing, VE/VA, DoE, FMEA, Dimensional Stack Analysis, 8D problem solving etc.

4. Superior ability to prepare and conduct customer presentations on PowerPoint. Ability to discuss and direct technical discussions surrounding Product Design and Manufacturing issues and Program Launches.

5. Customer focused attitude to meeting project goal and objectives. Understanding of approach needed to deal with customers and suppliers particularly in situations where problems have arisen. Experienced at making detailed customer presentations.

6. Proven people management skills.

7. Ability to work clearly and logically in all circumstances including where project timescales are short, deadlines are tight or where it is necessary to resolve customer problems.

1. Overall general management responsibility for the product engineering team, including the management or people, assets and resources.

2. Manages design and development activities to achieve project objectives within assigned or developed budgets, in accordance with project timing milestones.

3. Develops annual variable, annual CAPEX, prototype and project specific budgets for approval. Tracks and reports status and risks and where applicable develops and executes recovery plans.

4. Ensures all customer “Statement of Requirements” (SOR) are reviewed for completeness and risk assessments are made to determine the technical challenges and ability of SLPT to meet performance, durability, reliability and cost targets. Ensures risks are formally recorded using the Project Technical Document (PTD) and communicated to the program manager and management team as necessary to protect SLPT.

5. Responsible to manage and direct resources to ensure the timely production of accurate drawings, specifications and 3D math models; starting from rough design concepts up to detail/final drawings. Responsible for make certain the competency, experience and systems exist to ensure accuracy and completeness of all drawing / specification information, (including: tolerance/fits, GD&T specifications, dimensional stacks and surface finishes etc.)

6. Ensures design, testing, reliability and validation plans are developed to verify the suitability and robustness of the product to meet Customer requirements. Responsible to ensure these activities are conducted using the appropriate engineering tools, (FMEA, simulation, FEA, CFD, testing, etc.). Ensures these plans are executed in a timely manner and results are recorded, documented and, where applicable, reported to the customer. Develops and executes action plans to address weaknesses or failures to meet targets.

7. Attends meetings with customers, suppliers, with respect to sales, purchasing, technical and design/launch reviews, preparing and presenting suitability detailed, professional and structured presentation materials.

8. Initiates and executes plans and ideas for cost reduction and/or quality improvement measures, including the tracking of agreed key measures.

9. Responsible for developing and monitoring training and staff development plans, including training needs analysis, performance expectations and performance appraisals.

10. Undertake other duties and responsibilities within the Engineering Department, or provides Engineering support to other departments within the company

六、工作强度与环境(工作在体能、时间、地点等方面的要求，以及工作危险性)

本岗位工作主要是在白天正常上班时间进行，大部份时间在固定的室内地点办公；对体能无特殊要求，在遵守劳动纪律的情况下基本上无风险。要求能适应经常出差。
