Purpose of the position
- Account manager responsible for acquiring and maintaining customers for assigned territory, who has a specific market sector knowledge and/or technical application expertise
- Sale of liquid products in range of assigned territory
- Sale of other products in range of assigned territory
Principal responsibilities
Acquiring:
? Planning & Prospecting
- Leverages technical and industry knowledge to identify profitable new opportunities
- Builds relationships with key decision makers at multiple levels (e.g., technical, plant managers)
- Identifies growth objectives for target opportunities and creates plan to capture
- Work with market manager/application engineer closely to identify market sector opportunities.
? Solution Design and Contract Negotiation
- Reviews customers’ technical processes and flow to define current and future application requirements
- Has deep knowledge of application technology and industry trends and can articulate benefits and efficiency of various technologies
- Structures deals, negotiates financial terms, resolves legal issues and assist to finalize contracts
- Acquires all sector/industry business selected in the territory
? Contract Management & Renewal
- Manages a portfolio of accounts within a defined territory.
- Reviews account performance and manages contract renewals in a timely
- Develops account plan and manages implementation; resolves service issues
- Develops pricing strategy for assigned territory in alignment with allocation goals
Required key skills (functional/technical)
- Good command in oral and written English
- Engineering basic training
- Various sales training
- Through training and examination of LindePro
Required qualifications/experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering course / commerce
- 2+ years sales or related industry experience in a business to business setting preferably within specialized industry
- Deep technical and industry specific expertise
- Basic financial knowledge
- People oriented with strong customer service attitude
- Good command in oral and written English
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated negotiation skills
- Broad knowledge of LINDE gases products
