Finance controller – U.S. Manufacturing company

? Reporting to: CFO
? Location: Shenzhen, China
Your roles:
? Responsible for supervising accounting/finance staffs
? Coordinate accounting and reporting in accordance with PRC GAAP, US GAAP and HK GAAP
? Provide timely, accurate analysis of company’s financial trends and variances.
? Position requires incumbent to perform in the job with high ethics and data integrity standards.
? Overall responsibility for accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, credit and collections, budgets, cash flow and asset management.
? Prepare accurate financial reports with required analysis, bridges and explanations to support the Headquarters’ consolidated financial report in a timely manner.
? Present findings and recommendations to management team and company leaders.
? Serve as the primary legislative liaison relative to Asia operations’ financial issues to ensure fiduciary compliance with local reporting requirements.
? Serve as the liaison and coordinate with subcontracted finance and accounting service agencies and individual(s).
? Manage the Asia accounting function including establishing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives.
? Ensure timely and accurate budget analysis and financial review for management team.
? Manage, monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget and proactively seek and suggest actions for continuous improvement.
? Initiate and support sound credit and collection procedures to support sales growth while protecting the Company’s asset investment.
? Provide timely support and responsiveness to customers and vendors as needed.
? Provide proactive support on the evaluation of potential alliances, acquisitions, mergers, and investments and/or other issues affecting the Asia business.
? Work to optimize the handling of bank and deposit relationships in Asia; initiate needed strategies for improvement.
? Stay abreast of trends and regulations to ensure effectiveness and compliance for the Asia finance functions.
? Provide special financial analysis in support of right decision making of the management team.
? Manage Asia cash flow with a purpose of minimizing risks, costs, and investment in working capital.
? Recommend and develop policies, procedures and systems for Asia operations to meet company objectives
? Coordinate and responsible for Asia annual budget preparation and adherence.
? Carry out annual staff performance reviews and provide daily guidance and training as needed.
? Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
What you need:
? Age with 30+, male is preferred
? Bachelor degree in Finance / Accounting or related, CPA/ACCA is a plus.
? More than 10 years finance experience, with 5+ years management experience, manufacturing industry working experience is preferred
? Strong accounting professional skills, including cost, accounting, reporting and etc.
? Strong communication and interpersonal skills
? Pro-active, open-minded and willing to grow with company
? Fluent in both written and oral English and Mandarin.
