The Company

It provides wide range of product lines serving mainly for North America Region and expanding rapidly for other key markets.





Your Role


As an Asian Sourcing Manager, you should lead and develop strategy for identifying, qualifying and selecting vendors to provide products including Wire and cable,Lamps/lighting,Transformers,Connectors,Switchgear,Conduit etc for resale. Develop negotiation strategies and manage relationships. Ensure sourcing/purchasing needs are met and projects are on schedule.





Your Reporting Line:Director Asia Operations





Main Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities


  • Aligns with LOB business needs, develops and supports strategies for identifying, selecting, qualifying & maintaining relationships with suppliers in Asia region.
  • Ensures materials obtained from suppliers are at the lowest cost consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source, and urgency of need.
  • Researches commodity market intelligence and trends, interview vendors and recommend sources of supply.
  • Develops and supports strategies for negotiation with vendors.
  • Leverages economies of scale to best meet the purchasing needs of the business in terms of cost, quality, and vendor ability.
  • Leads and facilitates sourcing initiatives/projects in collaboration with other functional business departments.
  • Analyzes complex data to identify sourcing opportunities.
  • Analyzes quotations received, selects or recommends suppliers, and schedule deliveries.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and conducts business with integrity and consistent with company policies, procedures and ethical standards.
  • Recommends, implements, and enforces company and department policies and procedures.
  • Performs other sourcing, vendor management, project management relevant duties as assigned.


Education & Experience:


Typically requires BS in related discipline (Bachelor's degree in Electrical ), MBA is a plus.

7+ years of experience in related filed (Electrical parts) in multi-national and multi-business unit’s environment, with 5+ years of experience in sourcing function speciializing in Electrical parts



Environmental Job Requirements:


  • Typically requires international & domestic travel 20% to 50% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Mature, self-motivated, result-oriented, team player.
  • Specific and relevant industrial & building materials/tools sourcing experience.
  • CPM or CPSM certification is a plus.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, identify savings opportunities, develop sourcing strategies, and quickly execute tasks to realize benefits.
  • Ability to multi-task multiple categories & projects.
  • Ability to coordinate strategies/activities across multiple business functions.
  • Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles and practical experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
