职位描述

Primary Purpose:
· Responsible for enhancing the capabilities and competencies of the retail organization by identifying skill gaps and recommending effective and impactful training solutions.
· Partner with the Retail Management leadership team to implement training solutions that will address the competency and skill gaps thereby enhancing the performance of the retail frontline team to achieve business goals and organizational objectives.
· Partner with the Retail Management leadership team to develop high potential individuals enabling them to assume increasingly elevated roles within the organization through targeted training & development solutions offering individuals the opportunity to enhance their skills and develop their career.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency to:
· Provide strategic leadership for all field related skills training and people development program for the retail organization
· Identify, formulate and execute field training & development strategies; identify strategic priorities and develop annual operating plan that are aligned with business strategies and organizational objectives that will positively impact business results
· Design, develop and implement training initiatives and development programs for all levels of retail frontline employees to support the realization of business goals of increasing sales, market share, profitability and sustainable growth of the business and organization
· Develop and implement comprehensive training metrics and reports to monitor the effectiveness of training solutions to ensure internal customer needs are met:
- Mystery Shopping Program Rating
- Sales Performance/Productivity Rating
- Performance Appraisal Rating
- Employee Engagement Survey Rating
- Skills Enhancement / Behavioural Changes
- Reduction in Turnover
- Lead, train & coach the Training team to execute the strategies and support the retail team in driving business goals and results; initiate and put a measurement process in place to effect desired outcomes; implement interventions when necessary
· Conduct performance gap analyses and needs assessment of the Training team through regular on-site observation of training workshops and field coaching thereby providing guidance, coaching & recommendations to elevate competencies and capabilities of the field trainers/coaches
· Partner with Head of Learning & Development to conduct organization-wide performance and skill gap analysis, identify training & development needs of the retail organization, recommend and implement solutions and interventions
· Partner with Head of Learning & Development to develop training & development curriculum and solutions tailored/customized to address the competency and skill gaps identified within the retail organization and field leadership team; implement training solutions, review & measure the effectiveness of each program in partnership with Head of Learning & Development, Head of Retail and BHR
· Partner with Head of Learning & Development and BHR in the implementation of talent management & succession planning process; design, develop & implement learning & development solutions to build sustainable talent pipeline within the retail organization
· Plan & manage Annual Operating Plan and Budget for field service training function

- Frequent travel within mainland China
· Language Competencies:
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
· Computer Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Words, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Education
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Training, Human Resources or related disciplines
· Experience
- Proven track record of at least 10 years of solid hands-on training & development experience in program design, development & delivery preferably in retail / service industry within multinational organizations
- At least 5 years managerial experience
- Demonstrated skills & knowledge in training, coaching & adult learning
- Retail service experience is highly preferred
- Overseas exposure is highly desirable
