Job Description :

1.? Strategy and Product : Own category strategy, financial results and product needs, encompassing, mix, pricing and lifecycle decisions.
Develop and refine a strategic view on customer segments and behaviors, in order to better position brand and products in the region;
Create and own development of assortments – Attend Global Line Presentation 5x per year in overseas, and assemble relevant assortments to drive sales in your market.

2. Market expert – know customer, competitive and market trends. Provide line input to NY Corporate Merchandising team to develop product ideas that support customer needs for your market.
Requires development of product briefs.
Responsible for liquidation strategy of products.
Own price positioning for region. Support pilots and testing agendas etc..

3. Business Analysis : Analysis from weekly selling results and store visits, -- generating actions to maximize business opportunities.
Lead category team, monthly, in the presentation of the category performance to the Executive Team.
Align monthly with Planning teams on business opportunities and financial risks; Manage product life cycles to optimize investments and current performance across multiple channels.
Door Profiling for store network. Requires working relationship with Planning teams as well as Business Development teams on a quarterly basis marketing.

4. Drive monthly product features and big ideas – translate to Marketing and Web in order to drive content across collaterals .
Partner closely with Marketing team to determine events and sales promotion activities that support product investments In Store Execution Provide product knowledge for Field Service Training to present to accounts and shop staff .
Own placement of product sample orders and budget for purposes of internal training .
Lead strategic merchandising discussions for Visual Floor Sets, in tandem with Asia Other Key leadership role in Merchandising;
required to lead cross functional Task Force, created to support a business priority.
Opportunity to speak at Company-wide events, such as quarterly Town Halls.

The accomplished individual will possess...
? Bachelor’s Degree;
? 6-8 or more years of experience in a Merchandising or Buying capacity in a related business or brand;
? Experience in luxury goods;
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese dialect);
? Strong analytical skills and comprehensive understanding of “retail math”.
