Located in down town shanghai

Company:
UK owned luxury hospitality brand, located in over 50 locations around the world. Excellent culture, young and dynamic. You will be working with a passionate team with a number of years experience. This brand is already well known in China but they are aggressively growing and are keen to expand their brand – which is why they are hiring!
Job responsibilities:
Responsible for outreach to print & broadcast journalists (liaising with other hotel departments to generate story ideas, compiling pitch list, writing/editing/distributing press releases, reviewing monthly editorial calendar, etc.)
Liaise with F&B, Spa, and other hotel departments on a weekly basis to generate concepts for holiday menus and special events, special promotions and participation in community events
Communicate etween Marketing/Public Relations and other hotel departments.
Represent hotel at various community events and activities including presence at Boston high profile non-profit/charitable events, local back Bay community events and other functions as requested appropriate by the General Manager and the Director of Sales & Marketing
Producing comprehensive itineraries for press groups. Entertain journalists for walk-through's and meals on an individual basis
Job Requirements
Excellent communications skills - written and verbal, in English
Excellent organization skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize accordingly
Must hold an undergraduate degree or equivalent in a relevant field
Very computer literate (intermediate-to-advance knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Very Internet savvy (knowledgeable of various online tools & resources)
Strong knowledge of the public relations field, specifically media relations
A minimum of three years of public relations experience (writing, pitching, report-generating)
