职位描述

1. Our client is the first resort in mainland China, will be a place where friends and families can escape together to a whole new world of fantasy, imagination, creativity and adventure. On Opening Day, the resort will be home to the Shanghai theme park, two themed hotels, a large retail, dining and entertainment venue and outdoor recreation areas. Our client will have something for everyone – thrilling adventures, lush gardens where guests can relax together and enriching interactive experiences, all with the world-class guest service that our client is known for around the globe.

2. Job Responsibilities:
GENERAL ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Management level responsibility for construction efforts on multiple Structural Steel scopes of work within the Theme Park or OC1 with responsibility of managing Quality Assurance for all aspects of Structural Steel onsite and in the fabrication shops. Will provide leadership to integrate show and ride installation elements with the Facility Structural Steel elements of work

CORE FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Manages Structural Steel efforts on multiple projects through installation.
? Leads/manages the Structural Quality Assurance system.
? Performs constructability analysis and value engineering recommendations.
? Monitors Steel construction, schedule, quality control, and safety.
? Monitors construction management contract compliance (if applicable).
? Monitors submittal and shop drawing process for Structural Steel.
? Maintains clarifications, submittal, and deficiency logs related to Structural Steel.
? Coordinates with other departments and personnel.
? Participates in preparing the site logistics plan.
? Reviews contractor’s project schedule related to Steel.
? Adherence to all personnel policies and company handbooks

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

? College degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related profession.
? 10+ Years job related experience (or 7-10 years Construction management/coordination experience) strongly desired
? Excellent technical skills and the ability to manage numerous resources to manage people.
? Proven experience managing the construction development process and documentation (shop drawings, document control, punchlists)
? Experience with and proven understanding of scheduling, estimating, quality control
? Ability to manage through conflict, complexity and to problem-solve issues to resolution
? Experience with hiring outside vendors, professional bid packages
? Experience in the contract administration process (contacts, professional fees)
? Ability to understand the needs of the client and to manage relationships between the owner/operator.
? Computer literacy (Word, Excel, E-Mail)
? Ability to comfortably communicate, both verbally in presentation and conversation, and written in correspondence to project team, vendors, consultants and Walt Disney Attractions partner. Exceptional communication and people skills.
? Ability to give direction, adapt to change/flexibility, establish relationships, build concensus, anticipate roadblocks, and work in a team environment

LEADERSHIP SKILLS:

? Ability to successfully manage a more complex and larger team of personnel providing leadership, mentoring, coaching and guidance
? Ability to successfully lead project team including consultants, staff extensions, contractors etc.
? Possess leadership skills to include administration
? Delegation
? Ability to resolve conflict, negotiate

EDUCATION, TRAINING, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

? College degree in a core discipline such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture or related profession.
