职位描述
1. Materials / Piping Engineer（美国第二大工程公司，高薪待遇丰厚）
2. our client is one of the world’s largest and most diverse providers of professional technical services, including all aspects of engineering, architecture, construction, and operations and maintenance as well as scientific and specialty consulting. We serve a large array of companies and organizations, including industrial, commercial and government clients across multiple markets and geographies.
3. Job Responsibilities：
？ Prepare piping engineering specifications including line classes (piping specification), detailed piping component purchase descriptions (including special items) and fabrications specifications
？ Assist with requisitions from site and new technical bid evaluations.
？ Preparation of Project standards and specifications in the fields of welding, NDE, materials and corrosion control
？ Material selection and specification for process plant piping and equipment
？ Preparation of Material Selection Philosophies and Reports
？ Review of bids for equipment to confirm compliance to specified materials and suitability for service with respect to material selection and welding / NDE requirements
？ Review of Vendor and sub-contractor QC plans, welding and NDE procedures
？ Vendor visits as required to resolve materials/fabrication issues
？ Demonstrate willingness to continually develop experience of Materials selection and fabrication of Pressure Systems Equipment, such as Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Storage Tanks and Piping equipment
？ Knowledge and technical knowledge in other fields such as paint, coatings and insulation
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience
？ MSc or BE Materials engineering with 10+ years of up-to-date experience from oil and gas upstream industry projects
？ Significant experience of Materials selection and Piping Systems Significant experience in Sour Service environment and industry standard (e.g. NACE)
？ Significant industry experience in Oil and Gas and utilities
？ Experience of FEED and EPC phases of Projects
？ Experience of vendor and sub-contractor surveillance through document review and surveillance visits
？ Knowledge of International Codes applicable to Process Plant fabrication (ASMEIX, ASME VIII, ASME B31.3)
？ Knowledge and experience of weld inspection techniques, including radiography and advanced UT
？ Knowledge of the metallurgy of stainless steels, 9%Ni steel and low alloy Cr-Mo steels, and sour service environment
？ Familiarity with ASME / ASTM Material Specifications and associated test requirements (including HIC / SSC)
