职位描述
JOB PURPOSE
Provide leadership and management on a broad range of manufacturing engineering scope including process engineering, equipment/facility management, manufacturing automation, Lean and project management in the plant to ensure that the site’s manufacturing operations reach world class standard and a benchmark in the industry. The role will play a very important role in supporting the site to achieve its strategy
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Lead a technical and professional team to develop and deploy state of the art solutions and practices to improve the manufacturing service.
2. Demonstrate leadership on overall engineering function management, project/program management;
3. Coach and develop the engineering team to ensure the talent pipeline and to support bench plan development
4. Measure and set next development steps regarding the professional competence level of the team
5. Plan and control budget for repair, inspection, maintenance and technical improvements
6. Plan, realize and improve maintenance concepts according to the requirements of plant
7. Ensure the realization of technical safety measures in the production facilities
8. Ensure the operation of the technical facilities according to environmental requirements
9. Plan technical measures and prepare investment applications with other involved departments
10. Plan and realize technical improvements and optimization of the production facilities
11. To be responsible for overall manufacturing process, technical investment analysis and new product/variance enquires in engineering aspect
12. To maintain and develop all manufacturing engineering systems, procedures and working instructions, e.g. Engineering Handbook, set-up parameter charts, standard consumption, BOM, etc.
13. Identify and lead Lean project activity that across all functions
14. Maintain and strengthen relationships with the other Bussmann engineering teams globally
Champion effective deployment of documented manufacturing controls and measurement systems best practices on all department projects.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
? Degree coupled with professional management qualification in engineering field.
? Minimum 8 years’ experience heading up a medium sized engineering team, broad end-to-end manufacturing engineering function.
? Track record of demonstrable people management skills
? Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills required
? International / global experience and exposure with good cultural awareness required
? Understanding of the financial aspects of running the project
