Mission

We are further strengthening our CRS logistics and purchasing organization with a purchaser within the Construction Technique Service Division, based in Shanghai, China.

The Construction Technique Service Division was launched in January 2012 to increase customer loyalty. As Purchasing is essential to the further development of the business, you will be responsible for ensuring that - with support of the supplier base - our goals are met regarding service levels, cost development, capital tied up and quality.

With the set-up of Regional Distribution Center (RDC) in Shanghai, you would take an active part in localization projects, to further develop the export out of China to the Asia-pacific region.

You will work closely with all departments within CRS and the RDC to ensure continuous improvements.

Job Description

- Support our Regional Distribution Centre to assure highest availability of spare parts and consumables to our Asian customers
- Improve the Inbound delivery performance of our vendors towards our RDC
- Manage your dedicated commodities in an active way to ensure continuous improvement of Total Cost of Ownership while reducing the number of suppliers.
- Continuous try to reduce lead-times of our suppliers in order to free-up capital tied-up in inventory.
- Establish Clear Supply Agreements with our main Suppliers

- Actively work on purchasing localization projects
- Development and further improvement of the purchasing process
- Work hand in hand with CRS & RDC teams to ensure our common goals are met
- Run Ad hoc purchasing projects on request

Experience requirements

- Commercial and/or technical experience within a purchasing/service organization
- Experienced with MS Office

Knowledge

- Technical knowledge of construction equipment and/or business practices is a benefit
- Good knowledge and understanding of business systems SAP, BPCS, etc.. is a plus

Educational requirements

- University degree in economics and/or engineering or equivalent through experience

- Good communication, negotiating and analyzing skills
- Able to manage multiple priorities
- Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
