职位描述

Job Summary
The Contract Logistics Health Care Development (BD) Manager is responsible for developing, ensuring, obtaining the Contract Logistics HealthCare sales plan requiring the generation of new business within new or existing accounts and the retention of existing accounts. He/She is responsible for direct sales activities up to the C Level of our Global Customers and to be the APAC leader for engagement with HealthCare Global accounts for Health Care Contract Logistics opportunities. The key role is to be a HealthCare supply chain expert to jointly work with the other Global HC account Mgr to drive customer into the HealthCare Contract Logistics practice in Asia Pacific. His/She primary focus will be to drive and be the expert on HealthCare 4 wall sales but also able to sell the entire portfolio of transportation service when attached to UPS HC compliant 4 wall buildings.

Job Duties

Generates Contract Logistics Sales Revenue

- Formulates winning sales strategies from strategic sales information to achieve Healthcare Contract Logistics business goals and objectives.
- Acts on referrals and leads from existing accounts and new prospects to drive revenue growth and product strategies.
- Qualifies and quantifies sales opportunities using UPS internal resources.
- Manages Healthcare Contract Logistics sales activities through contract finalization to drive the sales process and achieve success.

Provides Internal/External Customer Support

- Facilitates training on UPS APAC Contract Logistics HealthCare practice to Local UPS sales teams so they can identify opportunities. Training on Contract Logistics Healthcare new products, sales campaigns, and strategic products and best practices. - Participates in setting the APAC Contract Logistics HealthCare’s departmental business plan-sales target to ensure the guidelines are realistic and achievable.
- Participate in C-level customer meeting as the UPS HealthCare Contract Logistics and Supply Chain expert to provide potential solutions to customer supply chain problems.
- Keep C-level customer advised of UPS, APAC and Global Contract Logistics HealthCare enhancement and new solutions


Develops Sales Strategy and Measures Effectiveness

- Develops and communicates sales strategy initiatives to drive revenue growth internationally.
- Utilizes sales performance measurement tools to determine the achievement of sales goals.
- Monitors s UPS APAC HealthCare Contract Logistics reports included but not limited to: funnel funding, P4 win reports to determine trends in demonstrate able sales performance.
- Works with Sr. VP of Contract Logistics and Health Care to develops performance quality measures on individual performance levels.
- Drives the business plan to support targeted sales opportunities, account penetration, and sales growth strategies.
- Uncovers and resolves competitive gaps in UPS APAC Contract Logistics Healthcare service offering by monitoring the customer base from year to year to seek out new opportunities and implement competitive initiatives.


Manages Sales Team Development

- Works with Global HealthCare Account Managers on effective methods for maximizing account penetration to increase UPS APAC HealthCare Contract Logistics profitability.
- Periodically reviews performance plan with Global HealthCare Account Managers to ensure APAC’s growth goals are on plan.
- Facilitates conference calls with the Global HealthCare Account Managers for information sharing on customer accounts to recognize sales wins, losses, and best practices.
- Reviews sales goals with UPS APAC Contract Logistics and HealthCare team members to ensure performance goals are on target.
- Holds Global HealthCare Account Manage accountable for business results and leadership behavior to develop an effective sales organization that represents UPS APAC Contract Logistics HealthCare products and services successfully to the customer.


Manages Customer Proposals and Presentations

- Collects essential data elements to complete sales documents, develop sales opportunities and obtain Management approval.
- Collaborate with internal team members to create customer agreements, presentations, and reviews.
- Interfaces with customers and UPS sales groups to manage Requests for information and requests for proposals and to ensure documents are completed and delivered within established deadlines.
- Provides Health Care Contract Logistics subject matter expertise to sales groups in order to penetrate major customers and resolve Health Care Contract logistics-related issues.

Performs Cross-Functional Duties

- Collaborates with cross-functional groups (e.g., APAC HC solution team,HealthCare engineering and PE, APAC IT teams etc.) to develop solutions for customers.
- Participates in conference calls to obtain and provide Global and APAC Contract Logistics HealthCare upper managements’ feedback on sales progress
- Facilitates meetings with personnel (e.g., APAC QA, APAC HealthCare Business Center Managers, APAC Regional F&A, etc.) to determine corrective actions and resolutions to customers’ issues.
- Participates in cross-functional committees to provide subject matter expertise.



Supports Customer Relationship Building

- Maintains relationships with C-level and very senior leadership in customer organizations to network and uncover opportunities to increase revenue.
- Participates in meetings to develop relationships with C-level decision makers.
- Support the development of client relationships and enhance opportunities for new business.
- Follows-up with customers to assess satisfaction level with services and products. - Participates in C-level meetings to present and review HealthCare Contract Logistics and supply chain proposals selling the value of the solutions.



Manages Internal BD Relationships

- Assists Global HealthCare Account Mgr teams with securing internal support to overcome organizational obstacles hindering business development and sales activities.
- Negotiates with other functions to gain support for business strategies for new or existing accounts.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to develop comprehensive account strategies for retention and acquisition.
- Participates in strategy sessions with Global HealthCare Account Mgrs teams during contract negotiations to ensure customer requirements for large, complex agreements are represented.
- Monitors customer activity for large, complex agreements via the account management system (i.e., TEAMS) to ensure that both the customer and UPS meet contractual agreements.
- Participates in APAP Regional & Country (where required) l business plan performance reviews to represent the performance of the region.



Leads and Develops Others

- Holds Global HealthCare Account Managers accountable to established performance levels to achieve APAC Regions Contract Logistics HealthCare goals and maintain consistent practices across the organization.
- Coaches the Global HealthCare Account Mgr and provide on-going feedback and support to improve performance. on APAC HealthCare Contract Logistics practice.

General Requirements

- Bachelor's degree preferably in Health Science
- More than 5 years sales experience as a business development manager or a sales manager in healthcare contract logistics business
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in spoken and written English
