Role Description:
- This role needs to support the Controller, Business Decision Support in providing support to the users in systems requirements and other applications such as SAP R/3 and Business Warehouse, TM1, Global GSR, LiFT & GPS system, evaluation and integration of existing financial system across the RBU and standardization of all the related financial accounting reporting.
- Role has cross-function contact, hence frequent co-operation with Shared Service Center and other business team is expected.
Primary Responsibility:
- Maintains and control Finance master data, accounting process and procedures
- Co-ordinating and implementation of new reporting requirement for regional and country finance team
- Co-ordinating and supporting of new financial requirement or changes for regional and country finance team
- support Group ERP template implementation across the region
- support the Business Warehouse implementation across the region
- Liaison with Information Services for ensuring smooth function of interface between various systems (SAP, BW, GSR, LiFT, TM1).
- Simplification, standardization, quality improvement and cost minimization from all system aspects
- supports and maintains budget framework, tools and development of related information provision
- On going maintenance and development of the financial interface with core ERP system
- Conduct training to end user for the finance application of the ERP system
- Ensures timely and accurate resolution to regional and country finance user community
- Ensures compliance with all Linde accounting and reporting standards
- Ensure build and implementation of best practices.
Required key skills (functional/technical):
- Solid Accounting & Finance Skills
- Good presentation skills (i.e. delivery of presentations to senior management)
- Strong Interpersonal Skills
- Strong Communication Skills
Required Qualification:
- Degree in Business with focus on Accounting/Finance/Economics
- Professional Accounting qualifications
- Minimum 4-6 years experience in business & financial management
- Excellent computer skills, ideally SAP
- Good cross-functional SAP and BW knowledge.
