职位描述
- To effectively manage & keep track of the key RGC strategy programs to ensure they are on track and risks are identified and well communicated to the key stakeholders.
- To provide consistent and professional analysis on macro economy and key industry trend within RGC. The output will be used for sales planning, new merchant market development, RGC strategy development and the key global and APAC regular review.
- To develop in-depth knowledge about competitors across all business segments. The information will be the key input for RGC GAMMA, RGC Strategy Dialogue & Annual plan, etc. It will also be the central database for competitor information, ensuring the information consistence across all the analysis & presentation within RGC.
Primary Responsibility:
- Strategy program management
- Central contact point for strategy related events (coordination, reporting, training, meetings, communications within RGC, etc.)
- Facilitate regular strategy program review meeting to review program progress to ensure successful delivery of RGC commitments
- Prepare reports for strategy program steer co review
- Review the status reports across projects and addressing issues/ risks as being appropriate
- Coordinate to develop mitigation plan for risks identified
- Market intelligence
1. GAMMA Management
- Lead the RGC GAMMA annual update process, including analysis and documenting all the key assumptions, data source, methodology, etc. Ensure all the assumptions are consistent and signed off by key stake-holders.
- Central contact for RGC GAMMA, maintaining the database and providing competitors market share information to different business segments.
- Work closely with / support global GAMMA team.
2. Set up and maintain the competitor database
- Provide regular update on competitors’ activities to the leadership team and the sales/marketing team. The information will be collected from key contacts from each business segment in RGC, BA MPG market intelligence team, desktop research and industry reports, etc.
- Key contact for macro reports from global & local
- Central contact for global reporting request, including the monthly report required from Corporate strategy and Fico, e.g. Operational highlights, APAC review
- RGC macro economic analysis
- Monthly update and analysis on key economic indicators to the leadership team
Track key economic policy and political policy related to the gas industry and Linde customers’ industries.
- Provide in-depth report on market/industry/industry players on project base
- The in-depth analysis will be based on the request from product management /sales team/central application team. The output will be the key input to new business development, sales planning & new power zone development.
- Manage external source for information, e.g. research consultants, publications, commercial reports, etc.
- Provide support on pricing activities.
Required key skills (functional/technical):
- Previous experience in market research including managing external research parties, desktop research. Strong capability in identifying & structuring key elements in market research
- Commercial knowledge: understand the commercial & financial implications and how it is translated into strategy development
- Strong analytical skills : knows precisely what data to gather, directs data gathering effort & develops set of recommendations
- Superior results focus and ability to track and monitor progress against plan.
- Excellent influencing & facilitation skills, experience in managing cross functional groups.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
Required Qualification:
- 5 years + experience in finance , commercial, sales ,marketing or in another related role
- Excellent understanding of the business,
- Experience of operating within a global, multi-functional organisation
- Experience in leading change successfully required
