Foreign consultancy company which focus on project management.

The role

§ Support the China Managing Director and senior management team in growing the China business.

§ Lead on business development including development and implementation of marketing strategy; co-ordinating key account management (‘KAM’); bid management, and management of reporting and communications in relation to business development.

§ Role involves liaison with regional and global counterparts and account managers.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor degree with 10 years experience of working within in a professional services environment, preferably relating to Project Management consulting, Construction Programme and Cost Management. Demonstrable commercial credibility and gravitas required to influence at a senior level.
• Strong business acumen with top level presentation and negotiation skills.
• Interpersonal skills to manage delivery through others, including consultants at all levels and their teams, BD colleagues and external suppliers.
• Strong commitment to internal client care combined with ability to work to several conflicting priorities and tight deadlines. Well developed project management skills and the ability to manage conflicting timescales and priorities.
• Persistence with a consistently positive attitude and "can do" approach as well as being able to work well on own initiative and also as part of a wider team.
• Excellent written and verbal English and Chinese language skills.
• Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willing to travel as required.
