Objective / Purpose of the Department

To introduce and enforce "best in class" security standards so as to support and enhance the profitability of TNT Express.

Objective / Purpose of the Job (describe clearly the level of responsibility and expected result)

Enforce best in class security standards aimed at achieving business unit annual profit budgets and reduction of business risk using value based management principles. Take ownership of successful deployment within Greater China of the agreed divisional policies, procedures or processes about fraud and integrity aiming to delivering consignments on time and in perfect condition and creating safe and secure work environments.

Key Activities / Accountabilities

? In charge of the implementation for all the security related policies, procedures and process. And delivery for all the necessary security related services in the whole China.
? To identify risks or vulnerabilities, which may affect the profitability or even the existence of the Company through risk analysis, awareness of exposure.
? To take pro-active initiatives to prevent losses e.g. develop program to prevent any fraud and integrity issues.
? To prevent / reduce impact of losses once they have occurred by conducting professional loss investigations, and cooperate with Regional Manager on investigating acts of external/internal fraud and acts of dishonesty upon request of Security Director.
? To monitor adherence to procedures related to fraud prevention.
? To play a strong proactive role in escalating issues of concern and best practice initiatives, and to develop a professionally close relationship with Sales Account Management, Operations, depot/gateway management and those directly involved in the creation of a secure environment through which high risk goods transit, is considered a critical requirement.
? To develop training modules and conduct training for Regional Security Manager and related people about Investigation.
? Work with the different functions in order to enhance the program about the fraud prevention and integrity consolidation.
? To maintain liaison with government agencies, local law enforcement and related security/risk departments and evaluating loss frequency and patterns.

Essential Educational and / or Training Qualifications & Certificates

? University/graduate or higher vocational leve
? Or proven work experience (see below)
Preferred Experience and Knowledge (number of years, type of experience)

? Experience within a security/related environment including investigation skills
? A excellent command of the English language, both orally and written
? Excellent management of internal and external stakeholder relationships
? Fexible and able to travel at short notice.
? Good understanding of security technology and familiar with its use.
? Strong skills in communication, presentation and training materials preparations
? Investigation skills on fraud and integrity issues
Necessary Technical / Functional Skills

? Excellent communication skills
? Excellent verbal and written English skills
