Sourcing Supervisor – Logistics Service (Base in HQ)

Job Output:
This position will focus on effectively supporting and coordinating China plants, India, Australia sales offices to obtain required and cost effective resource on transportation and warehouse. This position will provide market insight and cost analysis to management team periodically and propose new method and tactics to help on cost reduction.
Key Process (Ownership/Participation):
1. ？ Work with global procurement professionals to develop commodity strategies and strategic procurement plans for individual projects and key transactions.
2. ？ Negotiate price, terms and conditions, for transportation and warehouse to support Armstrong Asia’s cost reduction initiatives.
3. ？ Provide consultation to all internal customers on suppliers and market conditions and their impact on our businesses.
4. ？ Use the supplier management system as the primary tool for supplier identification, management, and improvement.
5. ？ Provide procurement expertise and training as required.
6. ？ New supplier selection, assessment, enrolment.
7. ？ E-Auction to get better price in a fair and transparent way.
8. ？ Request for quote case by case when the required resource is not available.
9. ？ Market information sharing, data analysis, reporting.
10. ？ Source and develop suppliers for transportation & warehouse for all business unites in Armstrong Asia.
Education & Work Experience:
1. ？ College or university degree
2. ？ 5 years related experience in transportation and warehouse sourcing
3. ？ 3 or above years JV company
4. ？ Work in office environment and work overtime may be required
