Finance Analyst, Asia Pacific

Job Output:
Finance
？ Under limited supervision, performs and/or oversees strategic, broad-impact financial analysis, reporting, and systems development for the various business units in Asia.
？ Provide financial expertise, guidance and services with a focus on analysis and interpretation
？ Recommendations directed toward improved profitability and business processes in conjunction with established global objectives.
？ Assurance to the accuracy and integrity of all financial information
Corporate Accounting
？ Responsible for ensuring all accounting transactions are recorded accurately and timely in compliance with GAAP
？ Manage accounting functions and supervise month end closing and preparation of reports
Key Process (Ownership/Participation):
？ Provide input and assists in the development of annual operating plan(budget) and strategic plan. Assist in the analysis and interpretation of budget and planning information, assuring support of Asia objectives and providing adequate measures of performance.
？ Preparation of monthly and yearly forecast of sales, expenses, profit and balance sheet trends
？ Provide analysis of monthly results and prepare concise interpretative comments related to product and or process profitability, pricing and key measures of performance
？ Compiles and analyzes financial information from all components of the organizational entity, and develops integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports and presentations
？ Coordinates, compiles, and analyzes financial statements for the organization and its component units, utilizing complex spreadsheet and database applications
？ Collaborates with and coordinates all components of the organization to ensure consistent reporting and adherence to headquarter reporting guidelines
？ Monitor/control Sales & Price trend, margins ,SG&A expenses and balance sheet trends
？ Liase with accounting personnel at various locations in the Asia Pacific region
？ Work directly with Asia sales team to evaluate sales opportunities and provide guidance to improve profitability
Organizational Relationships:
？ Reports directly to Finance General Manager, AFP, Asia Pacific
Key Customers and Suppliers:
Internal:
？ Asia Management Team
？ US HQ Finance and Management Team
Measures of Effectiveness:
？ Customer satisfaction (both external and internal).
？ Meeting of reporting deadlines
？ Accuracy of financial data
？ Achievement of Asian profit , cash flow and productivity objectives
？ Feedback from GM Finance, FC Asia and key management
Value Added Activities:
Education & Work Experience:
？ Bachelor degree, preferable in financial background
？ 5 years working experience
？ Good command in English, both oral and writing.
