Main Accountabilities

1. Planning and execution of vehicle tests for braking pad homologizations. This includes the test design development in close cooperation with the AEs and involved customers. Support for buying the vehicles and application of special test equipment.

2. Execution of vehicle tests, support for test selection and evaluation (reporting)

3. Analysis and interpretation of test results

4. Frequency analysis of brake noise, tests and supervision of vehicle test parts (Axle, calliper/rotors, pads and tire/wheel/rims,...)

5. Application of test equipment for vehicle tests (mechanical, electrical adaptations, application and programming of DP-Systems)

6. Supervision and maintenance of test vehicle pool

7. Development and execution of customer trainings

8. Test Development

9. Documentation and reporting (running test log book)

10.Close cooperation with RPM group, engineering and production

11.Running projects for localization, material development and characterization.




Minimum Requirements

1. Mechanical/ Electronic engineer or technician

2. Certificate for car maintenance

3. Experience in vehicle testing. Good driving skills

4. Relevant driving license for all PC and LVL preferred truck driving license as well
