Scope of the Job

·Product life cycle management for PC
·Product homologation
·Coordination of all technical activities for OE customers
·Technical responsibility for all OE products
·Build-up and cultivation of enduring business relationships to allocated customers
·Management and coordination of customer projects in cooperation with the customer and internal interfaces
·Best possible customer satisfaction by means of competitive products, quality and competent service


Main Accountabilities

1.Gaining new technical approvals with the OE customers and internal departments allocated to the VPM team
2.Managing an OE customer team consisting of application engineers, test engineer, supporter and vehicle test technicians
3.Managing all OE projects through the PDIP/APQP (Product Development and Introduction Process); developing schedules in order to prioritise allocated resources
4.Formally reviewing and reporting all projects in the PDIP on a monthly basis; delivering the necessary documentation on time to the management team
5.Prioritising allocated test resources in line with us and customer priorities
6.Budget planning for homologations, PDIP projects and cost centre
7.Internal and external presentation of test results
8.Provide a full technical service between us and the customer in line with the our manufacturing strategy
9.Preparation of product specifications for the PPM department with the aim to provide the best products on the market also in the future
10.Responsibilities in the Areas Work Safety and Environmental Protection
11.Fulfil other tasks assigned by supervisors. Minimum Requirements

Ø Dipl.-Ing. Mechnical or engineering or similar experience
Ø At least 5 years experience as an application engineer or similar jobs
Ø Project management/ negotiation/ argumentation/ presentation skills as well as good command of the English language
