Technical Support executive

Requirements for Job (education or experience required to be able to perform this job):
? Have an in-depth knowledge in chemistry and applied chemistry, practical technical experience in coating formulation, development and production.
? The position requires strong technical background in chemistry with a sound base experience in lab management and a process industry
? Leadership, good communication skill, presentation skill, project management and teamwork are required.
? Skilled English capability to interact with other colleagues.
? Skilled knowledge in computer productivity software suite, i.e. using Power Point, Excel & Word.
Key Objectives/Principal Accountabilities (kindly limit to a maximum of eight)
? To establish, manage, and implement LF technical teams’ objectives, review team plans and report development progress.
? Manage and implement all relevant projects assigned by technical manager from the yearly Technical Department Objective in accordance with Company HSE&S and Product Stewardship requirements.
? Support to production by leading investigations into finding out root causes of a product problem, and carrying out corrective actions
? Support New product development team located in CTC for new formula scale-up。 To provide effective technical supports to Manufacturing to achieve improvement in manufacturing efficiency, i.e MME, cycle time and RFT improvement
? Verify customer complaints and make corrective and preventive actions accordingly. Analyse complaints and improve products accordingly with co-ordination with CTC
? To provides useful and timely feedback and coaching to Sale when appropriate
? To manage and carry out all other works from technical manager timely.
Functional Responsibilities/Network (kindly limit to a maximum of five)
? Work closely with NPD teams, Production and other departments for good capability in technical support..
? To make sure all raw material and formulation used are fully compliant with global and China product stewardship government regulation

? The business clearly sees a window of opportunity to build for itself a dominant market position in China in the next 3 to 5 years and aim to become the market leader
? The business in the coming years will continue to improve it’s current position of strength in Premium segment and will seek improved shares in the areas of Woodcare and Project business
? Given the unique needs of the fast growing market in China, need to seek to license technologies and commercially exploit available opportunities where the group does not currently possess technical capabilities.
? Technical Department sets up the goal and agenda yearly for new products and VCT according to BU’s product stewardship.
