POSITION SUMMARY

Purpose

This position is responsible to handle the PG/Liquid Helium Gases customer interface to ensure that customer deliveries are processed timely, accurately and efficiently for China.

Nature and Scope

Report to China PG/Liquid Helium CSO Manager. Utilize all available IT systems including Route Master to develop daily delivery schedules for the PG/Liquid Helium Businesses which ensure that all safety standards, regulatory requirements, optimization of Supply Chain and highest level of customer service are achieved. One requirement must not be achieved at the detriment of the other.

Individuals must continually monitor customer demand requirements and resource availability i.e. equipment, drivers and product to be used in the delivery from specific field locations. Implement changes and rearrangements as necessary to complete the daily deliveries in the most efficient manner while satisfying the customers. Key interfaces will be with drivers, dispatchers, terminal managers, Customer Service Specialists, and customers.

Individuals must be flexible to work “non-traditional” hours/schedule. Twenty four hours a day/365 days a year schedule must be maintained. Working in shift and shift rotation will be applied. Voluntarily or willingness to come in on days off (training meetings, etc.) will be required in certain situation. On duty assignment will be rotated among the schedulers in order to cover emergency or out of office hour requirement.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Provide daily scheduling solutions for PG/Liquid Helium Distribution activities in china.

• Fully utilize the planning and scheduling functionality provided by Route Master to optimize scheduling solutions.

• Responsible to meet or exceed Physical Distribution KPIs from the scheduling related activities (i.e.: Optimum delivery route, loadage, Vehicle Utilization, etc).

• Understand and meeting the highest level of safety awareness ensuring that scheduling solutions allow all Legislative and Corporate Physical Distribution requirements to be met.

• Participate in the company Emergency Response Procedures ensure effective and timely actions are initiated as required.

• Work in conjunction with Field Locations to execute Strategic and Tactical Product Production and Fleet Utilization Plans that allow for optimization of both our production and distribution resources.

• Ensure the highest level of Customer Service is achieved and maintained. All customer demand requirements obtained via received sales orders etc. must be effectively captured, scheduled and delivered ensuring continuity of customer supply at all times. Prioritize Redline and Safety sensitive customers as appropriate.

• Participate and implement continuous improvement programs which encompass not only the Scheduling Team but also other CSO（Customer Service Organization） Departments, Commercial Management and Business Operational Teams.

• Continuously promote a “One Team “philosophy and work ethic into the achievement of optimized performance across all the Supply Chain.

• Develop and maintain effective communication processes between the Centralized Scheduling function and the Field Locations. This include both daily operational activities and longer term planning and improvement strategies.

• Shift Handover Process: Schedulers communicating past and current issues to each other.

• Listing of events and issues is to be passed on next shift scheduler and also for supervisor.

• Monitor Customer Service Levels and create Near Miss & Run-Outs reports as required.

• Work in conjunction with the Commercial Team, CSR and operation team.

• Responsible to run some report for CSO team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Experience (including knowledge and skills):

• Must be good in oral and written both in Chinese and English

• Familiar with SAP system will be preferred.

• Ideally would have experience of customer service and physical distribution management.

• Recognized specialized qualification in some area of Logistics or Supply Chain Management.

• Ideally will have more than 2 years work experience in logistics or distribution related activities.

• Must have excellent computer/system skills and display an aptitude to learn.

• Must have proficient communication skills both written and verbal.

• Detail oriented, willing to work unconventional shifts, supportive of teamwork approach

• Must demonstrate sound reasoning and decision-making skills.

• Ideally have good analytical skills and experience of identifying opportunities for improvements within a Supply Chain Environment.

• Must be a self motivator, able to work on own initiative and a good team player.

• Must be comfortable in dealing with both internal and external contacts at all levels.
