China Sales Manager

Job Summary
This incumbent is expected to create and deploy a solid strategy in sales and new market development, driven by a thorough understanding of markets, products, customers, and competitors that delivers our business objectives.
The position reports to the GM of Asian
Responsibilities
? Craft sales strategy to grow business in China.
? Expand channel and sales coverage for new geography, new application and new industries.
? Provide leadership to drive highest customer satisfaction and positively impact sales and profit growth for all products.
? As a key member to develop and optimize China Pricing Strategy.
? Monitor and analyze sales activity against goals
? Deliver Actionable Gross Margin results, managing sales and overall forecast accuracy
? Research and develop the strategies and plans which identify market opportunities, marketing and new project development
? Develop personal relationship with key contacts at major customers and develop customer partnerships.
? Understand customers’ strategies, value chains, major markets served to win with customers.
? Monitor and evaluates operational effectiveness, and effects changes required for improvement.
? Coach and develop a strong team for succession, to achieve the business result and embrace the challenge of business growth.
? Develop and manage the budget and oversee the development and the management of internal operating budget.
? Other related work assigned by his manager and the company from time to time.
Experience:
? At least 10 years working experience, preferably with a multinational, in the building materials/construction industry;
? Business degree or equivalent;
? Extensive sales and marketing experience in China, with solid sales achievements;
? Proven track record in implementing successful strategic programs to generate sales and develop new businesses;
? Strong leadership, team building/management and motivational skills; ability to work well with others.
? Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a rapidly changing environment—a creative thinker;
? Good business sense with assertive yet deferential personality; personal integrity and sensitivity to diverse cultures are essential;
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
? Fluency in English, Mandarin; ability to speak other Asian language is a definite asset;
? Be adaptable for business travel frequently
