Compressor Technique Information Services is the department that is responsible for the information systems within the Atlas Copco business area of Compressor Technique. Our Demand organization exists mainly out of functional oriented people who fulfill the bridging function between our business and technical IT. As our scope is the complete Business Area worldwide we have to enable business process alignment to maximize synergies in the group.

Today we are mainly based in Belgium (Europe) but we will extend our organization further in China. For this reason we are looking for a Project Leader IS/IT Demand based in the region of Shanghai. This function will report to the Team Leader IS/IT Demand APAC.

Job description

You are responsible for applications that support our business processes like Marketing and Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics and Purchasing. In this role you are responsible for daily stability and continuous improvements. Some of them will have an international scope.

You analyze the business requirements in scope of your projects and translate them into a functional solution that can be developed by our outsourcing partners (technical IT development). Understanding the business processes is crucial in this role.

You lead projects from feasibility study to closure. In close cooperation with different people (like key users, project members and management) you guarantee a qualitative delivery in line with agreed timing and budget. You are the contact person for IT development in relation to your projects.

Education

The candidate has a university degree or equal by experience.

Affinity and understanding of IT applications is a strong advantage.

Good spoken and written knowledge of Mandarin and English is required. Any other language is a plus.

Experience

Experience in project management is an advantage.

Knowledge of different business processes in an industrial company and experience with ERP systems is a plus.

You are able to cooperate with different levels in the organization.

Flexible in working hours and willing to travel around China when needed.
