Are you a talented Quality Assurance with experience from the furniture industry and have a strong desire for continuous improvement?
Do you want to become a part of a dynamic environment and want to have a key role towards driving the quality level to new heights?
As one of our quality assurances for indoor furniture your focus will be to ensure the right quality is shipped to our customers on time. Your knowledge of production, materials, surface treatment and packaging will enable you to make the correct decision according to our quality standards.
You will be a part of our China team (Qingdao Shandong area) and an important part of our China Team. You will daily be in contact with colleagues in our Shanghai office.
Knowledge of quality requirements, materials, surface treatment, processes and packaging will enable you to support supplier and supply chain department.
Main tasks include:
· Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC documentation according to customer requirements
· Administrate and lead corrective actions and change requests
· Create and monitor weekly QA planning together with the Quality Team
· Lead sample reviews for the accessory category with colleagues and suppliers
· Ensure reference samples and 0-production samples are signed and documented with relevant sample report, both for future reference and use of Quality Controller’s during inspection
· Support TPs Technical Product Manager in ensuring continuous improvement of best practices related to the QAs working at TP SH office.
· Participate in kick-off meetings and provide technical input to product coordinators
· Communicate directly by mail and phone with relevant colleagues in Denmark regarding relevant projects
You have a minimum of 5 years working experience as QA for furniture or similar experience from production. Work experience for a major international company an advantage.
For the position we furthermore expect you to:
· A graduate of engineering with bachelor’s degree in mechanical/automotive or equivalent within furniture industry
· Fluent in both spoken and written English/Chinese Mandarin
· Good computer and MS Office skills
· Read and interpretate international product standards
· Good interpersonal and communication skills
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship and interfaces with international colleagues and local suppliers in a cross functional environment
· Ability to analyze, describe and specify products
· Ability to train others in processes, quality tools and best practices.
· Able to establish and maintain good and clean office standard
