Title: Sensing Instrumentation & Test Engineering Contractor

Location: Shanghai

innovative products with best-in-class technologies and user experiences.

Core Responsibilities:

This individual will be responsible for supporting the development of test & calibration

equipment used in product characterization & production. Work includes validating and

deploying factory test and calibration infrastructure across programs including sensing

technologies during New Product Introduction (NPI) stage.

Candidate will be responsible for,

？ Supporting in designing, developing instrumentation software & hardware

platforms

？ Product characterization, validation and calibration

？ Prototyping, bring-up, debug and characterization of instruments for Apple new

products

？ Preparing and deliver high quality technical presentations

？ Production instrumentation software creation and roll-out to suppliers

？ Supplier liaison, including supporting instrumentation bring up and qualification

at engineering builds in Asia

？ Defect root cause analysis and resolution, including diligent bug database tracking

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of instrumentation & test development experience:

？ Experience with hardware bring up and debug in a factory environment.

Experience with factory support is required.

？ Ability to perform failure analysis using scientific method and experimental

process is required

？ Solid engineering fundamentals and ability to act autonomously in close

collaboration with other team members

？ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

？ Able to understand and perform statistical data analysis

？ Able to make domestic & international travel 50% of the time

？ Fundamental hardware engineering knowledge in analog design is preferred

？ Experience in firmware development (knowledge of I2C, SPI, and other

protocols) in data acquisition & measurement system is preferred

？ Experience in software development using C/C++, Objective C, or similar is

preferred

Education: BS EE/CE/CS required, MS EE/CE/CS preferred.
