POSITION SUMMARY

The jobholder will be responsible for the gasification process control, including logic diagram/ narrative/instrument datasheet development in PDP(process design package) phase, Factory acceptance test and Site acceptance test, process control support in commissioning start up and operation troubleshooting. To lead continuous improvement in quality, scope and schedule. To support product line development.


DIMENSIONS

? Annual operating budget (currently) $4M.
? Reduce specific capex of company gasification processes by (at least) 20% over the coming three years.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Responsible for maintaining control narrative/IPF narrative/logic diagram /instrument spec in PDP(process design package) phase.
2. Develop the control strategy for gasification line up.
3. Responsible for providing professional technical support from process control aspect, to achieve success commissioning and start up to gasification project, inside and outside China.
4. Responsible for providing troubleshooting service to improve the reliability in operation phase, from process control aspect.
5. Identifying areas that need process control optimization
6. Responsible to summarize the lessons learned and deploy in new projects.
7. Contribute to post implementation design reviews, delivery of continuous improvement in delivery.
8. Working together with customer, supporting engineering contractors outside company and expertise business units within company.
9. Win in the strong competitors and increasing competition from new local players.
10. Maintain and further increase the external (customer based) focus and behaviors of all technical staff.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. M.Eng./M.Sc. in process control or equivalent.
2. At least two years' experience in process control engineering in a related industry.
3. Extensive industry process control knowledge.
4. Ability to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
5. Strong customer delivery focus.
