The Sustainable Wood Engineer is a real local animator of the wood policy, 

challenging our sourcing team in order to obtain the acceptable wood sources and 

supporting suppliers to permitt them to be in compliance with the BUT wood policy. 

. Daily Contact person in Asia with ONGs partners

. Trains and communicates with suppliers 

. Collects traceability sheets and associated documents, analyzing them

. Supports the development of the wood Eco-certification

. Follows the corrective plans aiming to obtain wood responsible sources

. Carries out field audits to verify the origin of the wood

. Updates monitoring tables and KPIS

. Proposes if necessary improvements of the wood process and documents

Requirements:

* Bachelor degree, Wood science and ingeneer; preferable someone with wood certification

* Mini 5 years of experience

* Knowlegde in the knowledge in the wood supply chain traceability

* Knowledge in the wood industry

* Good level in English

* Good knowledge of office softwares (Excel…)

* Good capacity in organizational and project management, communication, coordination

* Good listening skills

* Team spirit
