Objectives：

• China local category buyer for merchandised products, packaging products and raw materials. 

• Implement category strategy and procurement plan for business development. Ensure procurement plans and operations process meet the requirement of global and regional procurement strategy and MBCC procedures.

• Focus on cost saving, supply security, new supplier development.

Responsibilities：

• Evaluation of supplier cost positions in related categories. Align the strategic options with procurement manager or related colleagues.

• Provide input of internal needs and market knowledge (e.g. demand forecast, supply market structure, situation of key suppliers, new opportunities and threats) to procurement manager.

• Support procurement manager on strategic goals, market intelligence, identification and evaluation of new suppliers.

• Supplier sourcing and qualification: develop saving opportunities; reduce single sourcing situation; benchmark price with competition; market intelligence; sign specification agreement with new supplier to ensure the quality meet required spec.

• Strategy implementation and follow up. Tackle action items deliver progress report to procurement manager.

• Contract and purchase order implementation and monitoring. Manage contracts and purchase orders to decide on appropriate actions; inform relevant colleagues about the results of negotiation; manage supply issue; escalation point for NCM (non-conformance management) management.

• Daily order process (provide price list to operation colleague for create OA/PO and release OA/PO in SAP).

• Supplier management, monitor supplier performance evaluation, EHS audit, improvement plan, supplier innovation, 

• Collect required documents from supplier for maser data processes.

• Ensure no compliance issue with company policy and local regulations.

• Strong EHS sense.

• Perform other tasks assigned by superior.

Requirements：

• Education:  Bachelor / master degree

• Working Experience:

  >= 5 years procurement experience in related categories in international operations, preferably in construction chemical or chemical industry.

• Technical & Professional Knowledge:

  Chemical or Business background in multinational company is preferred.

  Good knowledge of construction chemical business, supply chain concepts.

  Software and reporting skill, SAP experience.

  Good English and Chinese skills (communication and presentation).
