职位描述

POSITION SUMMARY

Manage the day-to-day tier 2 manager and employee interactions and execution of lifecycle HR processes. The jobholder serves as the “face of HR” to the general population of employees and managers, and therefore plays a critical role in the development and evolution of the Air Products employee experience. The role is responsible for ensuring HR support enabling operations to meet organizational objectives, follows service level leading practices, and integrates with the other functions within the HR team for consistency.

The role manages the day-to-day manager and employee interactions and execution of lifecycle HR processes. The position holder is responsible for execution of the processes and collaboration with Employee Support, SBS HR Services, Business Partners, Communities of Expertise and other parts of the system required to operate the process (e.g. third-party payroll/benefits providers, IT, finance, etc.)

The position holder is expected to be knowledgeable in HR Policies & Procedures, Recruitment process, Employee Relations and Compensation and Benefits administration; able to expedite solutions and be a reliable source of accurate information to managers and employees. The position requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, high performance and work ethic to drive to completion, as well as the ability to relate to people at all levels of the organization to understand and resolve issues.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

This position is accountable for the following end results:

  1. Manages tier 2 employee & manager inquiries, requests & cases:
    1. Receives & responds to all initial cases via ticket, email, call, etc.
    2. Ideally, responds with accurate resolution upon first contact, or, if necessary, conducts the appropriate investigation and/or research to identify and present the appropriate resolution
    3. In exception cases, escalates request by escalating ticket to SBS HR Services, CoEs or HR Partners

  1. Manage workload efficiently to fulfil commitments in accordance with established service level agreement (SLAs)

  1. Develop core competency in HR tools and programs (SAP, Kenexa, LearnEx, Case Management Tool, etc.)

  1. Execute & support life-cycle day-to-day HR processes, manage associated knowledge & content:
    1. Support the recruitment process as required
    2. Facilitate on-boarding process for new hires
    3. Administer employee benefits including medical insurance, annual flu vaccine program and annual welfare health check program,etc

  1. Provide monthly/ad-hoc payroll instructions for payroll processing every month

  1. Prepare and issue letters (eg. confirmation, promotion and salary adjustment letters, employment certification, etc)

  1. Complete data for compensation and non-compensation surveys

  1. Administer tuition reimbursement and training grant application

  1. Schedule and coordinate lunch talks

  1. Provide Training logistic support as required

  1. Administer employee separations by issuing, final release letters, Protecting IP Letter, to leavers and provide Payroll with final instructions for final salary release

  1. Performance management such as issuing PIP, disciplinary action report as required.

  • Labor relations management:

  • Labor contract renewal for CEAP local employees
  • Application of relevant permits with labor bureau (special working time permit,etc)
  • Union Issues
  • Settlement of labor dispute
  • Work-related injury cases
  1. Identify improvement opportunities to improve work processes and participate in group/team projects or initiating individual improvement projects when opportunities arise

  1. Implement process enhancements and changes as required by the Communities of Expertise and other sources of demand.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or relevant certification
  • Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in HR Operations and/or Recruitment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

? Working knowledge on SAP/Workday system would be an added advantage
