Powder coatings are always solvent-free paint and we apply them to metal and other conductive surfaces. They are used on many things like furniture, window frames, radiators, pipes, cars, and even wood and plastic!! At AkzoNobel Powder Coatings we supply eight key market segments: appliance, architectural, automotive, functional, furniture, general industry, general trade coaters and IT - with our Global brands Interpon？ and Resicoat？.

Responsibilities:
1. Work with AkzoNobel colleagues in various countries to successfully coat body shells with a "Class-A" powder coating system.
2. Provide training to AkzoNobel colleagues on (1) the optimal application of "Class-A' finish powder coatings through a powder bell / robot application equipment, (2) expected production outcomes and failure mode troubleshooting, and (3) the processes / procedures how to deal with an Automotive customer.
3. Provide training manual material, incl. a trainer's manual.
4. Work with the various teams on the optimization of the application equipment to ensure a "Class A" finish. 5. Work with site teams and materials engineering to ensure that materials meet AkzoNobel specifications through required testing and design of experiments.
6. Work with AkzoNobel and vendors in assuring proper facility installation of equipment according to the specifications of the original purchase order and common industry practice and customer requirements.
7. Work with automation engineering on automation programming for optimized film characteristics while also maintaining production cycle times.
8. Work with the team in pre-launch and launch activities to ensure smooth startup and equipment operation, powder handling, process characteristics, and job quality.
9. Instruct AkzoNobel colleagues and body shell target programs in creating appropriate documentation regarding the use, optimization and trouble-shooting of the demonstration powder application facility.
10. Provide reporting to AkzoNobel team designates.

Requirements:
Education
？ Graduate level-technical discipline Experience
？ Experience in the automotive industry at OEM level
？ Experience in the (powder) coatings industry
？ Experience in automotive body coating
？ Experience in Project Management with major OEMs

Skills
？ Technical skills, allowing for cooperation with internal and external R&D, and engineers
？ Developing and engineering talent 'on the coating line'
？ Experienced networker with good interpersonal skills
？ Must be self-motivated and determined
？ Must be a good communicator with fluency in English

Posting is located in Shanghai, China National and international travel on regular basis.
