Powder coatings are always solvent-free paint and we apply them to metal and other conductive surfaces. They are used on many things like furniture, window frames, radiators, pipes, cars, and even wood and plastic!! At AkzoNobel Powder Coatings we supply eight key market segments: appliance, architectural, automotive, functional, furniture, general industry, general trade coaters and IT - with our Global brands Interpon? and Resicoat?. Responsibilities:
-Implement job analysis and evaluation, salary administration, analyse compensation surveys and obtain all necessary information to prepare compensation proposal and budgets
-Maintain and continuously update a full database of job descriptions within SBU based on Hay JD guidelines with good quality which provides basis for objective job evaluations and other related C&B decisions.
-Collect market compensation and benefit information (market /industry) on a regular basis (conduct salary survey if necessary) and prepare in-depth analysis report to check our C&B position in the market in order to provide a professional C&B advice and recommendations to management team from time to time for important HR and business decisions.
-Frequently conduct analyses on our C&B data both internally and benchmarking with external markets and make recommendations of SBU compensation and benefit policies and initiatives and change that should be taken, to support the development and maintenance of effective compensation & benefits programmes aligned with BU/ SBU reward strategy
-Process annual compensation review in APAC region based on SBU and BU policies and guidelines by working closely with unit HRMs to ensure consistence and efficiency across the region on a timely and professional manner. Detailed accountability in this important cycle includes but not limited to propose to SBU HRM re increase % based on BU guideline, compensation template design, data collection from Units, compensation (salary, bonus) review letter preparation and communication, prepare MM bonus objective letters based on the figures provided by Finance in order to notify employees covered under the MM Bonus scheme of their bonus targets to achieve.
-Propose effective employee bonus programs based on business needs and strictly in line with BU/SBU bonus guideline. -Assist in the preparation of Individual Development Plans (IDPs) & Leadership talent review (LTR) within own SBU to support the annual leadership talent review -Coordinate the calibration for APAC P&DD performance rating to ensure objectiveness and solid basis for compensation review and other HR and people related issues.
-work as a C&B expert in SBU HR team and take the initiative to train unit HR teams in order to upgrade the compensation-related knowledge of the whole SBU region.
-Work as a contact point and ensure and maintain a smooth and effective communication with BU ,global corporate ,country and unit C&B team for guideline/policy/market information/international assignment, etc.
-Implement other ad hoc HR projects as assigned by SBU HRM Requirements:
-Bachelor degree of HR, Business Management, Economic and Trade, and Psychology
-Experienced in management of change -Minimum 3 years of working experience, preferably with experience in Job Evaluation and Compensation & Benefits
-Fluent in Mandarin and English -Outstanding people skills
- sensitive, understanding, patient and listening
-Good judge of character
-Toughness to deal with difficult people and circumstances -Good computer skills
