? Lead the deployment of industrial hygiene (IH) and occupational health (OH) policies and procedures to ensure the factories and R&D centres are in compliance with regulatory and the company standards;
? Coordinate with internal and external specialists;
? Develop, deploy and implement plans to maintain excellence in IH and OH performance;
? Support the completion of health risk assessments and industrial hygiene sampling and analysis;
? Work closely with the internal occupational safety, medical and legal specialists and with the applicable regulatory bodies to identify and mitigate risks which may lead to occupational ill health;
? Conduct internal IH and OH auditing and inspections at factories and R&D centers;
? Lead and/or assist in the delivery of IH and OH training programs;
? In collaboration with medical professionals, interpret and report OH performance data and trends;
? With reference to the procedures and specialists, provide advice and support regarding: the safe handling of enzymes and other production materials; and ergonomics;
? Provide advice on the requirements of national OH legislation, and the relevant implementing procedures and policies.

? The company and third-party manufacturing and R&D site functions;
? Global SHE and medical specialists.
External:
? Consultants;
? Government agencies (e.g. representatives of Chinese Centre Disease Control and the Ministry of Health).
ESSENTIAL
? Relevant first degree in occupational safety, occupational health or applicable science;
? Masters in occupational health / hygiene;
? Good knowledge of all aspects of occupational health and industrial hygiene;
? Strong capability and experience in communicating with management and employees;
? Excellent observation and auditing skills.
? At least 5 years in an IH and/or OH specialist position in a reputable multinational manufacturing company;
? Proven track record of analytical thinking and project management.
