Title: Assistant Manager, Controlling Project

Work Location: Shanghai

Reporting to: Senior Manager Business Controlling

People Management Responsibility: Yes

Travel Required: Yes

Shift Required: No


JOB OBJECTIVES:

1. Foster further standardization of reports & further alignment with China management requirement

2. Drive an improvement project related to credit management and support risk management

3. Take lead in China Controlling related to projects & initiatives triggered by BU/Region

4. Ensure alignment with BASF requirements as to inter-company activities & pricing (ICTP), CSA & SLAs.

5. Support in M&A projects and financial due diligence especially preparation of investment request


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Foster proactive business decision making to working capital optimization. Constantly monitor and improve the data collection and retention processes in order to improve timelines and qualified reports.

2. Coordinate in a leading role of credit management improvement with related BU/Department/Service platform.

3. To set up ccontrolling reporting structure to align with BU's requirements

4. Support in Performance Enhancement Project cleanup

5. Support in investment controlling as well as SAP project improvement

6. Other tasks assigned by supervisor


REQUIREMENTS:

1. Education: Degree in Accounting / Finance Management

2. Working Experience: Min 3 years in Finance/ Project related/ 2 years in management level

3. Technical & Professional Knowledge: Prior experience in finance/controlling area

4. Qualification: CPA/ ACCA and SAP skill is a plus
